I never expected to document my life story. In some ways I thought it would be rather “egotistical” to write a story about me. However, once I began to understand the process and final product, I began to see how meaningful it is for my children and future generations to know my story and our family story. When we commissioned Moe Ross I had no idea of the depth of this project. Her background has prepared her well to capture my values and the stories behind them.  Our interviews were fun, casual and very thoughtful. The final product is outstanding in every aspect. I appreciate this concept and product so much that I have already added a postscript and will continue to update as the years go by. I now feel that this is a one of the most important parts of my estate planning, and passing on my values and what I have learned is one of the greatest legacies I can give to my children and future generations. I highly recommend Moe Ross. Every aspect of the process is first-class.

Moe Ross did a Miography on my mother, Eadie Levy, and the result was a beautiful, lasting piece of history that our entire family enjoyed. In providing her verbal history, I was astonished to learn so much about my own mother that I had never known before. The process was very moving and brought us closer together. Generations to come in our family will be able to see and hear my mother explain her very extraordinary life in her own unique words.

Anyone interested in leaving a written legacy for their loved ones couldn’t do better than producing a Miography for them to read in future years. The entire process was fun to do, and the end result is invaluable. Moe and her team provide just the right amount of help and stimulus. When I heard about Miographies, I was more than curious about Moe Ross and the idea of documenting my life journey. I was hesitant to do it myself, so instead I commissioned Moe to work with my wife, Dorothy. Actually, I gave her a Miography for her sixty-fifth birthday, and watching the joy of the process and then seeing the final product, I decided to do my own. It became clear to me that this was the greatest gift I could give my children and future generations. I could not be happier with the end result, and I highly recommend Moe and her team.

I commissioned Moe Ross and her team to write the life story of my mother, who is a survivor of the Holocaust. Every aspect of Miographies exceeded my expectations. Preserving my mother’s story, in this heartfelt, artistic way is a priceless treasure for which I can never express enough gratitude.

Our family commissioned Miographies for our beloved mother and father, also known as Yiayia and Papou, by their grandchildren. Being Greek immigrants, their story of life growing up in Greece before the life changing events of WWII and their immigration to America to start a new life, means the world to us. We wanted it done “the right way” by capturing their words, values and emotions in describing their lifelong journeys, which is why we commissioned Moe Ross and her team. We knew that if their story wasn’t documented, many memories and wonderful stories would be lost, forever. Working with Moe and her team was the best gift we could have given them, ourselves, our children and generations to come.

I commissioned a Miography when I realized that my only son did not know our family history or why I chose to divorce his mother. I know that one day, he will open up my Miography, and what I have shared will be invaluable to him. This gives me great peace. I found the process of doing this fun. I loved being asked questions that offered me a chance to revisit many moments of my life. We titled my Miography “Messages to My Son, My Only Son.” It’s the best gift I have ever given to myself and to him.
