The classic miography is a full bodied biography that blends sustaining themes such as family history and life, decision making, the evolution of essential values, personal insights, and perhaps a few beautiful synchronicities.
In the past twenty-seven years, we have completed just over 127 miographies, simply by clients telling others about the value and quality of our work. The brand is well established with clients such as the founder of the American Paraplegic Foundation (which merged with the Christopher Reeves Foundation), the former CEO of Werner-Lambert, the Amoco Oil family, former CEO of the Chicago Tribune, CFO of McCormick Spice, CEO of Sterling Aviation, CEO of Chicago Executive Airport, to name a few. We have worked with a broad range of men and women, age groups and backgrounds – entrepreneurs, investors, immigrants, Holocaust survivors, cherished parents and grandparents, world adventurists, on and on.

Audiography.
One of the most cherished parts of the personal storytelling process is the interview, which is the inspiration for our audiography offering. Over the course of two to three days, we sit one on one and let the defining moments of your life emerge as we travel back in time together. Through the interview, we capture the valued family stories in the voice of the subject. You will receive an unedited copy of the interview.
The Essential Stories.
A collection of up to 15 refined vignettes that illustrate the stories that matter most in a compelling format.The Essential Stories are a focused and curated collection designed to offer guidance, warmth, and rich wisdom to its readers—and many generations to come. A gift for a friend or your greatest mentor.
Videography.
A videography as unique as the subject it explores. Our team of writers, producers, & award-winning filmmakers will help you capture your family story in a powerful feature format. Our process
We are experts in helping you clarify and tell the compelling stories and insights you want to transfer from one generation to the next with purpose. The gathering of your stories is a completely individualized, confidential process.
Some clients elect for their children and grandchildren to submit questions before the interview; we personalize and individualize the process to fit your desire and needs.
The audio-taped interview is conducted wherever, and however you are most comfortable. It may take place in your home or another location; it always offers an opportunity for you to travel back into time and tell your story in your words from your perspective.
You work with our graphics team to choose how your book will look. We work with the finest archival bookbinders, paper-makers, and graphic designers.
